I have met people who think it is not possible that God would love them... they think they have done such terrible things that it would be impossible for God to love them, and because of this, they believe they could never live in a right relationship with God... or even live in heaven with God after they die... and then there are those who think they already live in hell... so why bother?
This letter was written by the Apostle Paul, and in it he is speaking to both Jews and non-Jews [known as Gentiles]. Although he wrote this almost 2000 years ago, he still speaks to people today through this letter.
Let me encourage anyone who might think they cannot be saved or receive help from God. In this letter, Paul states very clearly that anyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved... this is a promise meant not only for people who lived thousands of years ago, but also for those of us who live today!! It does not matter what you have done up to this point, or what your life is like now... if you want God [the LORD] to help you make better choices or live a better life, all you have to do is ask. God is listening!!

So true but so hard to believe. For people who have not experienced God as Savior it could seem like foolishness, impossible or not worth considering. I join your thoughts in saying it is much simpler and even more real than anyone can even begin to imagine. It is real, free and available 24 hours around the clock. It can't get any better than that. Lastly, it's good. For those of us who have experienced salvation it really is as simple as it sounds. Now living it out...that takes a little more work! :o)
Anonymous, you are so right when you say that for people who have not experienced God as Savior it could seem like foolishness, impossible or not even worth considering... and I think that sometimes, only as a last resort, because nothing else seems to be working, and there are no other options, will someone finally try to reach out to God... and when they do, they find that God is right there, has been there all along, and has just been waiting to be asked.
Now, my struggle has been in trying to find ways to help those in my youth group and Sunday school class experience God. I don't think I've quite gotten there yet...
